Founder and Director, SAL – Gyanesh Gupta

Gyanesh is a Delhiite, an MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad and hails from a business family. He always had a great passion and fascination for dance, which inspired him to pursue it as his profession.

Gyanesh holds vast experience (20+ years) of being a Choreographer, Instructor and Performer in various western dance forms viz. Salsa, Tango, Cha-Cha, Samba, Zumba, Meringue & Rumba.

Certifications:

He has been formally trained in:

• Salsa, Cha-Cha, Samba & Jive  under “Ulian Dinu” (Romania, Europe), a world-renowned Salsa & Ballroom Choreographer.
• Tango and Mambo – “Les lion ballet Company” under Fernando Aguilera, a well-known choreographer from Argentina.
• Zumba (latin workout) Training under Lucas Mthenjane.
• Graduate in Dance from University of Bucharest.

Teaching & Choreography:

• Worked with Remo D’Souza in Jhalak Dikla Jaa Season 4 (2011).
• Choreographed a video with Yana Gupta for Stereo Nation.
• Personal choreography for many couples for their/relatives’ marriage/events.
• Taught Salsa & Zumba in various institutes viz. Dyanetics & Scientology, Sangeet Shyamala, Elemantion and Golds Gym etc.

A Certified Yoga & wellness Instructor from Moraraji Desai National institute of Yoga, under Ministry of Ayush.
Ability to build effective relationship with students of all background and skills. Follow strong safety techniques to avoid any injury during the practice. Follow the Demonstration method to teach the asana. Motivate and pursue the students to achieve their personal fitness goals. Customize the student’s routine to improve their immunity and flexibility by way of continuously following up with the asana protocols and inheriting a healthy life style.

6. Acted in a dance feature film titled “Ye Ballet” through Shiamak’s Dance Academy.
